Bad Things Happen to Good People (And Then We Make T-Shirts About It)

Let’s be honest...  life doesn’t come with warning signs, and even if it did, some of us would still ignore them. Good people get hurt. We trust the wrong ones. We stay too long. We give too much. And sometimes, no matter how kind, loyal, or self-aware you are, you end up blindsided by the kind of betrayal that makes you question everything - including yourself. That’s not weakness. That’s being human.

The truth is, you can’t dodge every red flag. You’re going to take some hits. But you also get to decide what you do with that pain. You can carry it like a burden, or you can wear it like a badge. Around here, we choose the latter. 

Sure, I’ve made mistakes. Trusted the wrong people. Believed the wrong words. But at least I didn’t lose myself in the process. And if that makes me a red flag in someone else's story... cool.
